PAYMENT & INVOICING
We provide secure, flexible payment options for all editing and translation work. No VAT is charged. All prices are quoted in GBP (£) unless otherwise agreed.
How payment works
- Quotation – After reviewing your document, I will email a fixed quote with a Quote ID (e.g., Q2025-014), scope and turnaround.
- Payment link – You will receive a secure PayPal payment link specific to your quote. This allows payment by PayPal or by debit/credit card (no PayPal account required).
- Confirmation – On payment, you receive an automatic receipt. We will confirm commencement and the delivery date by return.
- Delivery – Work proceeds in line with the agreed scope and timeline.
Important: Please do not share your payment link. It is unique to your quotation and reference.
Currencies
- GBP (£) is the default.
- USD ($) or other currencies (e.g., EUR (€)) are available on request. We will issue a payment link in your preferred currency.
- If paying in a currency other than GBP, the amount will be stated in that currency and processed by PayPal at their prevailing rates.
Deposits and staged payments
- For larger engagements, a 50% deposit may be requested prior to commencement, with the balance due on delivery.
- Where deposits apply, you will receive two separate payment links (deposit and balance), each tied to your Quote ID.
Invoices and receipts
- You will receive an instant receipt from PayPal on payment.
- If you require a formal PDF invoice on letterhead (showing Quote ID, currency, amount and scope), We can provide this on request.
- No VAT is charged.
Revisions and scope
- Unless otherwise stated, quotations include {{e.g., one clarification round within 30 days}} of delivery.
- Changes beyond the agreed scope may require a revised quotation and payment link.
Cancellation and refunds
- Before work begins: full refund.
- After work has commenced: refunds are pro-rated to work completed, based on the agreed rate and scope.
- If timelines change at your request, we will confirm any impact on cost and schedule before proceeding.
Confidentiality and data protection
All client materials are treated as strictly confidential and stored securely. Documents are used solely for the purpose of preparing your quotation and delivering the agreed work.
How to request or update a payment link
If you have not yet received your link, or if the amount/currency needs adjusting, please email {{your.email@domain}} quoting your Quote ID. We will issue or amend the link promptly.
